I just found this lovely article by the LA Times about their opinion poetry on Twitter. A little while ago they put out the submission call and received over 1500 op-ed poems. They have chosen their favourites and listed them all on their site.
Have a read through, it’s always brilliant when large publications do this sort of awesome stuff with poetry that smaller magazines can’t do. I especially enjoyed Serving by Kari Gunter-Seymour and in keeping with this week’s theme A Haiku by Sally A. Seven.
