Poets and Editors

I was doing a bit of reading around the internets and came across this article from last year about the relationship between poets and their editors. Starting with T.S. Eliot and Ezra Pound it goes on to look at the current editors of the main poetry publishers.

The point is raised that poets often need poets to edit them but conversely there is danger in poet-editors creating a series of clones tied to their own work. It’s interesting to read about poets and their editors – and their editors!
