Poetry 83

This is one of my favourite interviews about poetry.

It’s one of The Paris Review’s The Art of Poetry series with the wonderful Billy Collins.

It is also how I discovered that I have something (albeit small) in common with Collins. We both write and then edit our work in a similar way. When I have written something I very rarely do more than small tweaks to it. It’s either something I’m happy with or not worth working on at all.

It’s a fab interview and well worth reading.
